The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is the worldwide leader in funding research to cure type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly and lasts a lifetime. The JDRF Seattle Guild hosts the annual Dream Gala, the largest and most successful JDRF fundraiser in the country and is being Chaired this year by my friends Joel and Maureen Benoliel.  The JDRF Seattle Guild Dream 22nd Annual Dream Gala will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel.  Here is the bracelet I made for the auction.

The bracelet design and pattern was featured in the October 2010 issue of Bead & Button Magazine by artist Cathy Lampole. 

The Peyote stitched band consist of three different color size 11 cylinder beads:

Base color Copper Gold Delicas
Woven pattern colors in a dusty blue Aiko 512F and green coated brass TB-1702

Embellishment: Bracelet edged with over 200 3mm Swarovski Montanna color Crystals and size 15 chrome Charlottes - in addition, the Clasp contains (36) 4mm and (17) 6mm Swarovski Crystals
